Brewery news

Heineken intends to reorganize its production activities in France, Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace reported on September 23.

The company plans to move the production of 500,000 hl of beer (or one third of the total volume brewed at the plant) from its Alsace facility to two other breweries: 430,000 hl to the brewery in Mons-en-Baroeuil (north of France) and the rest to its Marseille facility.

The brewer explained its decision by the desire to move more of the production volume closer to its logistics centers.
