E-Malt.com News article: USA, OR: Deschutes Brewery to enter Nebraska’s beer market

Continuing its systematic approach to distribution expansion, Deschutes Brewery announced it would enter Nebraska by the middle of October, Brew Bound reported on October 2.

The Bend, Oregon-based brewery has signed a wholesale agreement with Johnson Brothers Liquor Company and plans to launch in the Cornhusker state with a series of events beginning October 15.

The move follows expansions in the Chicago, South Dakota and Iowa markets earlier this year.

A series of events are scheduled from October 15-18, as part of the Nebraska launch. It’s the perfect opportunity to try some combination of official Deschutes Brewery Nebraska launch beers, including award winners and style leaders Mirror Pond Pale Ale, Black Butte Porter and Chainbreaker White IPA.
