The average cost of a pint of beer in the UK is GBP 3.46 (some EUR 4.7), more than three times higher than in Romania, where the same pint costs GBP 1 (EUR 1.36).

The Czech Republic, which is famous for its high beer output and consumption, has the lowest beer price out of 13 European countries, only GBP 0.72 (EUR 1), according to an infographic made by British real estate consultancy firm Citybase Apartments.

Romania has the second lowest price for the beer pint. Beer is also cheap in Belgium (GBP 1.27), Lithuania (GBP 1.30), the Netherlands (GBP 1.69), and Spain (GBP 1.74).

On the other hand, the highest prices for the pint of beer are in Sweden (GBP 5), Denmark (GBP 4.7), and France (GBP 4.66), the same analysis shows.
