Hite Jinro Co., one of South Korea's largest distillers, said on September 29 it is considering selling one of its beer factories to enhance its production efficiency, Yonhap News reported.

Hite Jinro made the announcement in a regulatory filing, though it said no decision has been made yet.

The company has three beer factories in South Korea and their combined annual output amounted to 662,000 kilolitres in 2016.
