One of the four biggest Ukrainian breweries, ZAO “Sarmat” (Donetsk), has increased its beer output by 19.8% up to 706.7 thousand dekalitres in January, 2003 if compared to the same period of the last year. “Sarmat” is the parent enterprise of the Donetsk beer group. Donetsk beer group also gather some other five Ukrainian brewers. One of them is Kiev beer plant no. 1, which has increased the beer production in January by 30.4% (13.3 thousand dekalitres).
