Lady Bird Bio Beer contains aloe vera - more commonly found in health food shops - and medicinal herbs.

And while it has about the same strength - five per cent - as regular beer, the Indian inventor says it will leave you with less of a sore head. Dr Srinivasa Amarnath, who worked on the beer for 10 years, also claims it can alleviate conditions such as asthma and arthritis.

Bio is already exported to several countries and will sell for £1.89 for a 650ml bottle in Britain soon.
