The Danish ingredients-company Chr. Hansen has signed a contract with the only brewery in Iran, Behnoush. Chr. Hansen shall supply the brewery with malt color for the beer brand Delster.

”Even the Iranian beer drinkers now gets a more clear and golden beer, they still have to look long after the alcohol.” In the Muslim Iran is it only legal to brew beer without alcohol.

Iran Behnoush Company was established on May 5th, 1966. It went into operation on May 1st, 1971. Iran Behnoush Company started its operation with 3,000,000 rails (30,000 shares valued at 1,000 Rials each). Iran Behnoush Company has gotten over 165 sales representatives all over the country for distribution of its products, and more than 10,000 sales-detailers in Tehran. Distribution in Tehran is done by 40 company owned trucks.
