Russell Breweries Inc., a producer of premium beer for fine pubs and eateries, reported November 24 the results for the period ended September 30, 2006.

Revenue for the first quarter of fiscal year 2007 increased 24% to $391,621 from revenue of $316,909 in the comparable period of the previous year (figures in CA$ unless stated).

The Company had a net loss for the three month period ending September 30, 2006 of $133,301 or $0.013 per share compared to the net loss of $46,505 or $0.005 in the comparable period of the previous year.

"We are continuing to expand our business in the draught market in BC at a record rate. The fact that we are still growing at a strong pace bodes very well for the Company when we introduce Russell in bottles and cans," said Andrew Harris, President and COO.

Russell Brewing Company produces premium draught beer for fine pubs and eateries located in British Columbia. Using all natural ingredients and traditional beer-making techniques, Russell beer is brewed for people who love beer. Products include: Russell Cream Ale, Russell Pale Ale, Russell Honey Blonde Ale, Russell Extra Special Lager plus two seasonal brews, Russell Lemon Ale and Russell Winter Porter. Russell Brewing Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Russell Breweries Inc.
