Erie Brewing Company is moving out of the city of Erie and into Harborcreek, YourErie reported on June 2.

Erie Brewing Company executives say they wanted to stay downtown but just couldn't afford expanding in the city due to acquisition fees and taxes.

They're building a 19-thousand foot facility near Knowledge Parkway in Harborcreek.

Construction could begin as soon as this summer.
