Refresh UK, the UK brewer, importer and distributor of premium beer and lager brands for the UK market, plans to spend £700 thousand for advertising its German beer brand Löwenbräu Original over the next 12 months. The first ads are expected to run in quality Daily and Sunday newspapers from May through to July. "This new series of adverts highlights the purity and authenticity of this wonderful beer in a charming and memorable way," said Chris Knight, marketing manager for Lowenbrau. "A new generation of premium lager drinkers are looking for authentic import credentials and Lowenbrau is now perfectly positioned to take advantage of this consumer trend," added Stuart Hawthorn, marketing director of Refresh.
