E-Malt.com News article: Netherlands: Innoconcepts to develop plastic bottles for Carlsberg

Innoconcepts NV said it has entered into co-operation agreements with the US-based Plastic Technologies Inc (PTI) and Danish brewer Carlsberg AS for the production of plastic bottles, AFX News Limited reported October 26.

Innoconcepts, via its unit I-Pac Technologies, and PTI intend to develop a new generation of beverage packaging, including an initial application for Carlsberg.

Innoconcepts said its technology allows for the manufacture of plastic packaging at a lower cost and that initial positive testing has resulted in the deal with PTI and Carlsberg.

No financial details were disclosed.
