Baltika Beer Company started the exports of its brands to Bahrain, according to company’s press release, November 15.

The first shipment constituted 54,000 litres of Baltika No 7 in cans from Sankt-Petersburg company’s brewery and will arrive in Bahrain in the middle of December 2007. The beer will be sold in the biggest and most populated cities including the country’s capital city – Manama, trough HoReCa and other stores and company’s own commercial network (national Hotel Services Co WWL). Baltika 7 beer will be positioned in market’s premium segment and its retail price will constitute 1.60 USD.

Baltika is the leader of Russian brewers. It has received “Best Russian Exporter” award for thew 6th year in a row. Company’s production is exported in 45 countries. Its export share constitutes 70% in Russian export beer market. Its domestic share is of 37.7%. Baltika brand is situated on the 2nd place in Europe on beer sales. At this moment, every 8th Baltika’s beer bottle is exported.
