Jonathon Sherman, Chief Executive Officer of Steelback Brewery is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ian MacDonald as President of Steelback Brewery effective January 21, 2008, according to CNW, January 22.

Mr. MacDonald brings with him over 18 years experience in the Beer industry in various Sales, Marketing and Senior Management capacities. Mr. MacDonald began his career in the Beer Industry with Labatt Ontario Breweries and eventually moved on to Lakeport Brewing Corporation where he earned the position of Vice President, Sales and Customer Service. At Lakeport, Mr. MacDonald was instrumental in developing the pricing strategy and strategic direction that aided in the remarkable success of the company. As Steelback's President, Mr. MacDonald will oversee and manage all brewery functions and will report directly to Jonathon Sherman, Steelback's CEO.
