E-Malt.com News article: Ukraine: Agrarians January 2008 barley sales averaged UAH1,144.3 per MT

As to State Statistic Committee, within this year January Ukrainian agricultural companies of all kinds ownership (except small-scale ones) sold barley at average UAH1,144.3 per MT, up UAH552,6 per MT (+ 93.4%) against last year similar, Agro Perspectiva reported February 28.

As to Committee, within this year Jan agrarians sold barley to processors at UAH1,156.3 per MT (on markets – at UAH1,017.0 per MT, through other trade channels – at UAH1,228.7 per MT).

As to report, barley was given to population (incl. public catering system) at UAH707.6 per MT on account of salaries and to shareholders at UAH537,0 per MT on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.

As to Committee, within last year Jan agrarians sold barley at UAH591.7 per MT.
