Golden West Brewing Company Inc. is launching a new organic beer brand nationwide in March 2008 in a partnership with Cost Plus Inc., FinancialWire reported March 19. The first release will be Blue Marble Organic Pilsner, which is a light-bodied, all malt, pilsner-style beer.

Cost Plus is a leading specialty retailer of casual home living and entertaining products. Cost Plus operates in 34 states under the names World Market and Cost Plus World Market.

Golden West Brewing was formed in 2003. Golden West acquired Butte Creek Brewing Co. in August 2005.
