E-Malt.com News article: Belarus: Spring malting barley crop expected to reach 150.000 tones this year

Belarus President Lukashenka reportedly directed that at least 150,000 tons of malting barley should be gathered this year, according to Naviny, April 10.

Prime Minister Sidorski added that spring crops are to be sown on 1.2 million hectares this year. As much as 2,170 billion rubels will go toward purchasing fertilizers, fuel, lubricants and farm machinery, and repairing existing equipment.
