As of June 9, spring barley sowing in Russia was performed at the area of 474.000 ha or 97.5% from the plan, according to the operative data of Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, AgriMarket reported June 9.

Spring grain crops were sown at 30 million ha or 97% from the plan, up 367.000 ha as compared to 2007.
