E-Malt.com News article: Mozambique: Cervejas de Moçambique to build a brewery by November, 2009

Mozambican beer manufacturer, Cervejas de Moçambique (CdM) will invest some US$50 million in the construction of a new beer factory in Nampula, Macauhub cited online online newspaper, Diário do País, on October, 9.

The construction of the facility is to be started this month and completed by November 2009, it is reported.

The factory’s installed capacity will be around 400 hectolitres per year, and could increase to a maximum of 1,000 hectolitres per year, sources said.

Cervejas de Moçambique is a subsidiary of South Africa’s SABMiller, one of the world’s biggest beer making companies.
