Almost half of the Russians prefer domestically produced beer, Baltika Breweries published the results of its National Quality Mark research on November, 14.
According to polls, Russian beer is ranked first by 44.8% of the Russian population. 27.6% buy German beer, and only 2.3% prefer Czech beer.
Light beers are popular with 59.5% of the respondents, dark – with 14.5%. 29% of Russians like unfiltered beer and only 4% are fans of strong beer.
Non-alcoholic beer attracts 4.2% of the population, the polls showed.
