Brazilian beverage AmBev has acquired for $12m Cerveceria Internacional, a Paraguayan beer group. Actually, Cerveceria Internacional has a capacity of 300,000 hl and 15.7% share of Paraguay’s beer market.
AmBev intends to invest $2m by 2004 in order to double the current capacity of Cerveceria Internacional and capture 30% share of the Paraguay’s beer market.
