| E-Malt.com News article: World: SABMiller expected to report slowing sales growth this week
SABMiller may report slowing sales growth this week as the recession hurt beer consumption in emerging markets and the dollar's strength led the company to raise prices outside the US, Bloomberg communicated on April, 15.
According to the median estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, the amount of beer sold rose 1 percent in the year to March. This compares with a 2 percent increase in the period's first nine months and a 7 percent climb in the previous year.
