Belgian beer maker, Interbrew, announced on September 9 that it appointed François Jaclot as new Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective September 15th. Mr. Jaclot (54), a French citizen, is an experienced finance professional having served most recently as Director and Vice-Chairman of the Management Committee of Suez, where he was also Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Jaclot held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Lafarge and before that was Senior Vice President/Head of Equity at Crédit National. Interbrew Chief Executive Officer John Brock commented: "François brings to Interbrew the kind of international and executive leadership that is absolutely essential to our on-going success. We are pleased to have François joining our Executive Board of Management."
In his role of Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Jaclot will be responsible for all key finance functions within Interbrew as well as investor relations and information technology and will be involved in the Group's global merger and acquisition activities.
