Interbrew said on Monday that its purchase of the German Beck’s has been unanimously approved by Beck’s shareholders. The deal is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2002 but it’s still waiting for competition authorities approval. Interbrew bought Beck's in August for $1.63 billion.
