MillerCoors LLC has named Rick Gomez as vice president of the Coors family of brands, effective July 13, The Business Journal posted on June, 30.

Gomez will be responsible for overseeing the overall brand strategy and positioning for Coors Light and Coors Banquet.

MillerCoors is a joint venture launched last July comprising Milwaukee-based Miller Brewing Co. and Coors Brewing Co., Golden, Colorado.
