E-Malt.com News article: Russia & Finland: Baltika Breweries starts shipping its Porter to Finland

Russia’s leading brewer Baltika Breweries announced on February, 15 it has signed a contract with Servaali OY to export its Baltika No. 6 Porter to Finland.

The beer is positioned in Finland’s premium beer segment and is available in all ALKO retail stores, Baltika Breweries said.

Finnish consumers prefer drinking beer at home, and the state-owned ALKO network covers about 85% of the nation’s total beer market. Besides, it is the only retail network authorized to sell beer with alcohol volume more than 4.7%.
