Ukraine: UkrInform reported that some 80 farms in Kharkiv Oblast decided to form a wheat seed production association where they will be registered as 1st reproduction seed producers. The Vasyl Yur'yev Kharkiv Crop Farming Institute will exercise the scientific supervision over seed production.

The Vasyl Yur'yev Kharkiv Crop Farming Institute is to create malting barley seed producers' association. The Institute in question created 12 varieties of such malting barley alone. If this happens Kharkiv Region beer producers only should bring to the farmers growing malting barley US $ 50 million a year, AgriMarket.Info reported.
