Carlsberg’s Kazakhstan subsidiary, Derbes Brewery Ltd, is launching a new variant of its popular beer brand Derbes, CreativeMatch reported on June, 16.

The company is introducing a draft version of the brand in a bottle, thus expanding the Derbes range to four variants including the original Derbes Classic, Derbes Strong and Derbes Light Refreshment.

"The market is growing very quickly and Derbes is one of Kazakhstan's strongest brands,” Olga Lee, marketing manager at Derbes Brewery Ltd, said.

Today the production capacity of Derbes Brewery Ltd is more than 2 mln hl. The company’s portfolio consists of such famous brands as Derbes, Irbis, Alma-Ata, Tuborg Green, Tuborg Twist and imported beer brand Corona Extra. All brands hold strong leading positions in separate segments of the market.
