A subsidiary of OAO Baltika Brewery (St. Petersburg) will be opened in Kiev, Ukraine by 2004, according to the Russian media. The subsidiary is to improve the direct contacts of the company with Ukraine’s distributors. OAO Baltika Brewery was created in 1990 and registered in July 1992. Baltic Beverąge Holding AB controls 74.24% stake of the company. Baltika has been exporting its production to Ukraine since 2000.
