Baltika has been named Russia’s No. 1 beer brand in August 2010 in a media rating provided by Medialogia, a media research center.

The flagship brand of the nation’s biggest brewer was ranked second in the July rating.

Heineken brand (a newcomer to the chart) was second in the August rating.

The third was Arsenalnoye brand also produced by Baltika Breweries.

The other brands included into top 10 list are:

Klinskoye (brewed by SUN InBev)
Siberian Crown (SUN InBev)
Stella Artois (SUN InBev)
Tolstyak (SUN InBev)
Miller (SABMiller)
Beck’s
Budweiser (SUN InBev)

The rating was based on the quality and quantity presence of the brands in the Russian media, it is reported.
