Moldova, Chisinau: Negotiations regarding building a new brewing plant in Chisinau are coming to the end. The new plant is to output the famous Czech beer Budweiser. That was the announcement made by the Ministry of Economics of Moldova, local media published on November 14. Representatives of the Czech company have already chosen the place of construction. In May next year Czech Republic will become a member of EU. That is why the country is looking for favourable markets, the press comments.

In January-September Moldova increased beer export 46.6 times up to 466,000 litres from 10,000 litres in January-September 2002, Department Moldova-Vin has posted recently. Export value increased 67.5 times for the period from US$ 2,000 to US$ 135,000, according to Interlic post.
