E-Malt.com News article: United States: Beer output down 4.4% in January – unofficial estimate

Unofficial national brewer production estimate indicates a decrease of 4.4% in taxable removals of 12,500,000 barrels in January 2011 compared to 13,075,000 barrels in January 2010, the US Beer Institute reports.

Domestic taxable removals (also known as Tax Paid Removals) measure the amount of beer shipped from domestic brewers to distributors within the U.S. market.
