| E-Malt.com News article: China: Beijing Yanjing Brewery to further raise prices this year
Beijing Yanjing Brewery plans to further raise prices this year, China Business News reported on March, 3, citing a company filing.
The company raised the ex-factory prices for two of its beers by 16 percent in January, resulting in a 0.5 yuan increase in retail prices.
Yanjing Brewery’s chairman Li Fucheng attributed the price hike to the high raw material costs.
China’s two largest brewers, China Resources Breweries and Tsingtao Brewery, also raised prices in January.
