| E-Malt.com News article: US, NY: Captain Lawrence Brewing Company to relocate to larger facilities
Micro-brewery Captain Lawrence Brewing Company is planning to relocate from Pleasantville to Elmsford, MidHudsonNews.com reported on June, 3.
The five mile move will mean larger facilities and an added tax ratable for the Town of Greenburgh, said Supervisor Paul Feiner.
“They are going to be occupying 18,250 square feet and then they are looking at a potential 5,000 SF of expansion,” he said. “It’s a brewery that has been growing and a lot of people are excited about the opportunity of having a brewing company in our community.”
Company officials said they are moving to the neighboring town because they could not find any suitable sites in Pleasantville to accommodate their long term needs.
Incidentally, the tasting room in the new headquarters will be 1,500 square feet, four times the size of that in their current location.
