| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: LCBO to offer four new unique beers
Starting last autumn, the LCBO – the government agency responsible for liquor sales in Ontario – has been offering periodic special releases featuring several beers from a single brewery, with past features including Dieu du Ciel!, Norrebro and Rogue, Canadian Beer News reported on August, 29.
For their latest spotlight release, they’ve taken a different approach, and asked member breweries of the Ontario Craft Brewers to submit new and unique beers for a group feature. Four breweries answered the call with the following beers:
• Pugnacious Pale Ale, a 4.5% abv American-style pale ale from Grand River Brewing of Cambridge.
• Supercollider, a 12% abv double IPA from Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery of Barrie.
• Miami Weisse, a 4.5% abv heavily hopped wheat ale from Great Lakes Brrewing of Etobicoke.
• Dunkel Buck, a 6.8% abv dunkel weizenbock from Beau’s All Natural Brewing of Vankleek Hill.
The four beers are being rolled out now to select LCBO locations throughout the province. They will be available until October 8th or while supplies last.
