The Garden City has a healthy thirst for craft-beers and there will soon be another place to pull some pints. Draughtworks Brewery has the kettles on and is getting set up for a late September opening, Kaj18.com reported on September, 15.

The owners say they're creating a neighborhood atmosphere that encourages customers to watch the beer making process right in front of them. Owners Jeff Grant and Paul Marshall both have beer backgrounds and went to a prestigious brewing school.

They say their brews are 'local and fresh' and can't wait to share their skills with the community by offering up some new draft choices.

"We're definitely bringing out our own interpretation to those styles, so you know you'll definitely see pale ales and ips around town, and Paul and I are establishing some that are different and or unique than the other ones," Grant told us.

He says Missoula has a promising craft beer industry and can easily support another brewery. He grew up around beer since his father owned the Milestown Brewing Company in Miles City. And he and co-owner Paul Marshall used to grow hops.

Draughtworks is located on Toole Avenue and should be open sometime in the last week of September.
