Lotte Group plans to invest about 500 billion Korean won ($439.6 million) in construction of a brewery in North Chungcheong province, a local media reported on September, 19 citing a lawmaker with knowledge of the plan.

Lotte currently operates liquor business and is the local distributor of Japan's Asahi beer.
