Pennsylvania brewer Troegs has begun operations at a new facility outside Hershey, The Associated Press reported on October, 25.

Troegs Brewing Co. started making beer at the new brewery this month.

The microbrewery's gift shop opened at the new facility last week. A 150-seat tasting room is set to open soon and tours for beer-loving visitors will begin next month.

Co-owners Chris and John Trogner say the company's success has made it outgrow its space in Harrisburg. The new brewery is three times bigger than the old facility and will allow the company to double its production capacity to 60,000 barrels annually.

The extra space will also allow Troegs to make more small-batch beers.

Troegs now employs 65 workers, about twice its staff two years ago.
