Vena, St. Petersburg based breweries asserted that from April 2002 it will be able to produce 20 mln litres of beer per month. This volume represents the double of its present production capacity, which is of 10 mln litres.

The performance,of increasing the production capacity by 100%, is a result of Vena’s $27 mln investment into the modernization of its facilities and the purchase of other new ones . New fermentation tanks , storage facilities and a bottling line, are some of the new Vena’s acquisitions.
