Salt Spring Island Ales has announced that Salt Spring Heatherdale Ale will be available in bottles for the first time, Canadian Beer News reported on February, 27.

Originally brewed exclusively for the world famous Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Heatherdale Ale is a Scottish (actually Pictish) style that dates back thousands of years (2000BC).

Bottles of Heatherdale Ale will be available at select liquor stores in British Columbia starting this week.
