The expansion to increase production of more Thr3e Wise Men brews is under way, Inside Indiana Business reported on March, 1.

A $480,000 expansion of the Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. will include an upgrade to current infrastructure, the addition of a 20 ton glycol chiller, a new filter machine, a new hot water tank, 500 more kegs, 6 more serving tanks and 8 more 30bbl fermenters.

With these new equipment additions, Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. projects being able to produce 6,200 barrels, or 12,400 kegs, annually, creating a potential for over a million dollars more in additional sales per year.

“We are very excited for the expansion and that this will enable us to deliver Thr3e Wise Men beer to all 8 of our statewide (restaurant) locations. It’s an exciting time for the company and for the brand,” said Ryan Kellerman, Director of Beverage Hospitality for a Pots & Pans Production, the parent company to Scotty’s Brewhouse, Scotty’s Lakehouse, Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co. and Scotty’s Burger Joint. Cavalier Beverage will assist Thr3e Wise Men in the distribution of their beers to restaurant locations.

Omar Castrellon, the Brew Master at Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co., will begin the extra production with his three assistants, Keely Tomlinson, Alan Simmons and Scott Ellis, as soon as the new equipment is in place. “The expansion will be beneficial to all of Indiana as they will finally all get a taste of Thr3e Wise Men original brews,” said Castrellon.

Pizza and beer delivery will be available to those who live near Thr3e Wise Men, within a standard delivery zone, and is slated to begin March 12th.
