E-Malt.com News article: Canada, QC&ON: Brasseurs du Temps considering expansion in Ontario

French language newspaper Le Droit reports that Brasseurs du Temps, a popular brewery and brewpub located in Gatineau, Quebec, is looking across the provincial border to Ontario for an upcoming expansion.

According to Marc Godin, vice president and business development manager of BDT, the current brewery is now running close to full capacity, and the partners are looking to open a 20,000 square foot production brewery in a new location sometime next year.

While locations in and around Gatineau are being scouted, serious consideration is being given to expanding into Ottawa to give the brewery easier access to the lucrative Ontario beer market. A meeting between representatives of BDT and the LCBO is planned to take place soon to discuss details of this possible expansion.
