| E-Malt.com News article: USA, PA: Free Will Brewing Co. opens to the public in Perkasie
Due to the drawn-out licensing process needed to open a brewery, Free Will Brewing Co., founded in 2010, wasn’t able to sell beer until January 2012, Montgomerynews.com reported on August, 16.
Now, it is happy to open its doors on August, 18 for the public to enjoy tastings and tours of the brewery. Growlers of their Citra, Pale Stout and Destiny’s Wit varieties will also be for sale ($5 for the growler, $10 for the beer).
Free Will Brewing Co. has been acting as a production brewery to produce beer for sale at local bars and restaurants.
Dominic Capece and John Stemler founded the brewery in 2010.
Currently, their beer is available on tap at several local bars and restaurants, including the Perk, the Washington House and The Horse Tavern and Grill.
“This is the first time we can bring in the public and show off what we’ve been doing,” Capece said. He added that a lot of people have tried Free Will Brewing Co.’s beers at local bars and restaurants and are curious to see where it comes from.
