E-Malt.com News article: Malawi: Carlsberg Malawi raises beer prices by 17%

Carlsberg Malawi has announced price adjustments on all its alcoholic beverages with immediate effect, Nyasa Times reported on September, 11.

Carlsberg Malawi Limited has hiked the prices of beer by 17 per cent.

The new official retail price for the popular Carlsberg Green (340ml) is now K180 while Carlsberg Special and Stout are both going at K200 with Kuche Kuche fetching K170.

The Carlsberg Green Light will be selling at MK230.

Opaque beer Chibuku is also set to be going up in prices, it is reported.
