A beer writer will be penning a new recipe this week with Odell Brewing Co. during Great American Beer Festival week, The Coloradoan reported on October, 9.

Christian DeBenedetti, author of “The Great American Ale Trail”, and Editor-in-Chief of the Weekly Pint, a beer website, is coming to Fort Collins to brew a pilot beer with Odell, said Amanda Johnson-King, Odell's news coordinator in an email.

A year ago, DeBenedetti held a signing of what was then his new book at Odell, which is also featured in the book.

“We've been talking about a brew for sometime now, and finally were able to make it work,” said Johnson-King in the email.

There is no information at this time regarding what kind of beer the author will brew with Odell.
