| E-Malt.com News article: USA, NY: Three Heads Brewing releases Big Head Stout
Three Heads Brewing (3HB) released their fall seasonal beer, Big Head Stout, beerpulse.com reported on October, 25.
Big Head Stout marks the 10th overall release for the Rochester, NY-based company.
“Stout is a style often overlooked by small craft brewers but among our favourites,” notes Dan Nothnagle, President of Three Heads Brewing. “We are always trying to make beers that we want to drink.”
Big Head Stout marks the first stout commercially brewed by Three Heads Brewing. Additionally, Big Head is also the second fall seasonal beer for the upstart company, preceded last year by Bromigo, the trio’s popular smoked maple amber ale.
Although a new release for Three Heads, the brewer has been privately perfecting the Big Head Stout recipe for several years.
Three Heads Brewing was established in December 2010, the collaborative efforts of Brighton residents Geoff Dale, Todd Dirrigl, and Dan Nothnagle. First serving their hometown of Rochester, NY, Three Heads Brewing is now available throughout all of New York State, as well as distribution in nine states and the District of Columbia.
Three Heads Brewing currently offers eight beers: The Kind IPA, Skunk Black IPA, Java Sutra Coffee Porter, Bromigo Smoked Maple Amber, Loopy Oatmeal Red Ale, Common Man Special Lager, Cobbs Hill Black Lager, and now Big Head Stout. Three Heads Brewing also released a collaborative beer, Third Party Candidate, last month, with Massachusetts–based brewer Clown Shoes Beer.
