Vancouver Island Brewery announced a partnership with Surfrider Vancouver Island in support of Combing the Coast, a program that has been hitting Vancouver Island beaches over the past five years in an effort to clean up and reduce debris, Canadian Beer News reported on April, 19.

The partnership corresponds with the launch of this year’s edition of Beachcomber Summer Ale.

To celebrate this partnership, Vancouver Island Brewery will be hosting an open house on Saturday, May 11th, where they will be pouring samples of Beachcomber Summer Ale and a special cask of Flying Tanker White IPA.
