Seminar Brewing announced plans to open its first commercial craft brewery in Florence, South Carolina, wbtw.com reported on June, 6.

According to Seminar's website, the brews will be available in various pubs, bars and restaurants around the Florence area.

The business expects the brewery to open in the next 12 months near Redbone Alley in Florence.

"Like many home brewers, we have always had a dream in the backs of our minds of opening a brewery. The idea of trying a brew pub in Florence began to take shape about 4 or 5 years ago. We began to get really serious about 3 years ago, after meeting and recruiting an experienced business partner," said Dave Peters, the owner.
