D.C.'s newest production brewery, Atlas Brew Works, announced its big opening. It will open during the week Sept. 2-8, Washington City Paper reported on August, 8.

Atlas Brew Works will host an event in a different neighbourhood across D.C. each night of the week. The exact schedule is still being finalized, but it is expecting to host evets in Petworth, Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and Logan Circle.

"We've got about 60 barrels of beer fermenting right now, and we're actually brewing as speak," the co-founder Justin Cox, said.

Atlas will launch with three draft-only beers. Its two flagship brews: Rowdy and District Common. A third limited-run beer called NSFW is a surprise.

Atlas Brew Works plans to eventually have tours, tastings, and growler fills at the brewery, but Cox says that it is still to be discussed.
