| E-Malt.com News article: USA, WA: West Seattle Brewing Company's to open on October,1
After months of hard work, Drew Locke and Kevin Fawcett, the owners of West Seattle Brewing Company have finally set an opening date for the brewery, Oct. 1, West Seattle Herald reported on August, 16.
With seating for at least 29 people and room for a few more standing, the brewery’s location has been renovated and will have 18 brews on tap at a time.
Fawcett explained, "We can make more than 40 types but only 18 at a time will be available. We're a nano-brewery; we're a barrel and a half at a time. Three kegs to a batch."
That will change in their first year if things go well Fawcett said, meaning a bit more capacity for larger batches will be brought online.
The owners plan to start by manning the taps themselves, as this will allow them to be closer to the beer lovers.
