Alley Kat Brewing has announced the upcoming return of a popular autumn seasonal, Canadian Beer News reported on August, 22.

The release of Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ale is an annual tradition for the brewery that started in 2007 when it was available exclusively at Sherbrooke Liquor under the name Pumpkin Pi. Now, under a slightly different name, the 5.4% abv ale is in wider released.

“Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ale is like the Fall season personified – an amber rich beer infused with spices and pumpkin from beginning to end. It’s all the things you love about Fall in a beer!” says Alley Kat’s owner Neil Herbst.

This year’s batch of Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ale will be released in September in a limited run of 650 ml bottles available throughout Alberta. An official launch party will take place at the Alley Kat brewery on Thursday October 3rd.
